Arcade by BOSMOS is an interactive installation: two people can play a light-sound sculpture together via two control panels. One can activate light signals, the other electronic sounds. These visual and auditory sequences are reproduced in real time in the light-sound sculpture. A spontaneous performance situation - sometimes improvised jam session, sometimes composed arrangements - is created. The hybrid human-machine interface is determined by the computer-based inner workings and the limited control elements of the control panels, setting in motion a shared, intuitive creative process.
